Soybeans, Too

Back Home Again in Indiana

Nothing to See Here

No, really. There’s nothing to see here. Why? Because when you’re turning the Carmel Arts Fair into a power walk, there’s no time for pictures. And when you’re a non-beer drinker on a brewery tour, nothing looks that interesting.

Really all I have to talk about is Which Wich, Jesse’s beloved sandwich home. He came back from Tulsa obsessed in love with the place. And for those of you who know him, you know that when he becomes obsessed falls in love with a restaurant, it’s all he can talk about. As such, he sets my expectations hella high, and I’m always disappointed.

This time, however, was different. I don’t know if it had been awhile since he waxed on about it, if I countered his love with my own skepticism, or if I was just that hungry, but I’m now all about Which Wich. (And yes, family, it’s better than Jimmy John’s. And don’t you dare tell me anything’s better than Jimmy John’s because that is a false.) I suppose I could have taken a picture of my lunch, but a) I was too busy shoving it in my face, and b) at the end of the day, a sandwich is a sandwich is a sandwich.

So if you showed up here today expecting tons of awesomeness, better luck next time.

P.S. On a related to nothing note, I’m now in 3rd place, BUT last week I was flying solo atop the league. And it was glorious. Some might even say magical.
