We’re supposed to meet with the realtor at 2 in the pm today to make an offer on a house. But it’s currently snowing like crazy so let’s go ahead and file that under Things That Aren’t Happening – right next to Buy A Foreclosure.
(Sidenote: If you follow me on Twitter, you already know this but for the rest of the world. . .unless you’re into holes in the wall and the fine aroma of cat pee, a foreclosure is not for you. My friend Meg offered what I’m sure is solid advice on how to get rid of the cat pee smell, but I think we all know the real solution here is don’t buy a foreclosure.)
You’d think I’d be freaking out right now over maybe losing this house over more snow, but I’m surprisingly calm. Probably because I know it’s not the snow but our budget that’s going to make us lose this house. We’re basically working with enough money to buy a really nice crackhouse. The upside, of course, is that’s what they call an income property and we should have it paid off in 2 years tops.
