Soybeans, Too

Back Home Again in Indiana

We’re In!

(I’m aware I’ve already broken my “post once a week in October” vow, but I’m putting the blame on Comcast for deciding we don’t really need internet. I did, however, write this on my phone Saturday, and you’re getting it today so we’re saying I’m still on track.)

We closed on the humble abode Wednesday, movers came Thursday, and the unpacking extravaganza started Friday. Some highlights:

The power going out in the model we were signing closing documents in due to non payment. Welcome to Arbor.

A properly ventilated dryer. Not having to run 2 cycles every time is 100% spectacular.

Water in the fridge. In the fridge! No more having to fill the Brita pitcher 357,823 times a day.

I have so many kitchen cabinets and so much pantry space, trying to figure out where to put things is stressing me out.

A legit falcon sighting. This was far more exciting for one of us than the other.

Moving is a total nightmare, but it’s a total dream for hitting my 10,000 steps a day.

And on that note, I’ll see you kids in 8,976,584 boxes.
